Way Engineering was awarded this GMP job based on 50% Design Drawings.  We were responsible for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Security Control.  We began installation of above ground mechanical and plumbing systems for this facility in November of 1998.  Containing approximately 7,600 tons of HVAC and 2,000 fixtures, the facility was completed on time and within budget. Seventeen months after construction began, on March 30, 2000, the first exhibition game was played in this magnificent new retractable roof National League Baseball Stadium. All mechanical and plumbing systems were operational and functioning properly for this event. All concessions were ready and open for business.
